Craig for Office

Dear Daviess County Community Members,
 

I am honored to announce my candidacy for Justice of the Peace for the Central Daviess County District. As someone with a heart for service who has always been deeply committed to this community, I believe this office holds an important place in the lives of our citizens and should be accessible, approachable, and dedicated to serving the people.
 

My name is Craig Pounds, and I have spent my career in service to others—whether through my work in education, business, or community engagement. I have been privileged to serve alongside many of you in various capacities, including through years of devoted community and ministry work. This ongoing involvement has strengthened my commitment to fostering connections and ensuring that each voice is heard.  I believe that leadership should always reflect the values of service, respect, and responsibility, and I am deeply passionate about maintaining the trust that binds us as a community.
 

Justice of the Peace is a service role. People need someone who shows up, returns calls, and treats important moments in their lives with respect. I will always be ready to serve with the utmost care, attention, and professionalism. This office, though often unseen, is crucial to preserving the integrity of the community, and I am committed to being a steady and accessible presence when the need arises.
 

As voters, you deserve the opportunity to choose from a range of candidates who are truly dedicated to serving the public with integrity and thoughtfulness. Options in our electoral process are vital, and when people step forward with the intention to serve, it ensures that the community is given a true choice. If elected, I will serve with dedication and humility, always focused on the well-being of our community.
